As the nature of order proposed to be passed is innocuous, notice on the respondents is dispensed with.

The caste-claim of the petitioner of belonging to 'Thakur' Scheduled Tribe category was negated by the respondent-Scrutiny Committee. After which the petitioner has approached the respondent No.5-employer seeking conversion of her services on supernumerary post in view of existence of policy of the State Government in that regard.

Shri S. R. Narnaware, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner invited our attention to the representation/request dated 27/12/2019 (Annexure-"7" page 58 of the petition) made by the petitioner in that regard.

In the aforesaid background, when confronted, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondent Nos.1, 2 and 4

In this backdrop, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition by directing the respondent Nos.5 and 6 to take decision on the representation dated 27/12/2019 of the petitioner and make appropriate recommendations in view of existing policy of the State Government in regard to the above as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of this order before them.

If such recommendations are in favour of the petitioner, respondent Nos.2 and 4 shall take appropriate decision thereon within a period of eight weeks thereafter.

In case if respondent Nos.5 and 6 decides adverse to the interest of the petitioner, same shall be communicated to her within a period of four weeks from the date of decision.

With aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
