Heard.

The applicant, aged about 22 years and claiming to be the student, apprehends arrest in crime registered against him for the offences punishable under Section 354(D) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. The crime is registered on the complaint lodged by the prosecutrix (aged about 17 years) that on the date of incident, when she was returning to her home from tuition class, the applicant stopped her, held her hand and expressed his love for her and created a scene on the spot.

The applicant has stated that he is not involved in any other crime/ offence. In the facts of the case, it cannot be said that the custody of the applicant is required by the Investigating Agency for further investigation. Hence, the following order :

2 aba456.17 In the event of arrest in Crime No.120/2017, registered by the non-applicant, the applicant be released on bail on executing P.R. Bond for Rs.Ten Thousand. The application is allowed in the above terms. JUDGE RRaut..
