The petitioners have sought a direction to the respondent no.2 - Block Development Officer to execute the recommendations made by the Chairman of the Panchayat Samittee in regard to the transfers of the employees in the year 2013-14.

Since the year for which the recommendations were made has already come to an end and fresh recommendations are likely to be made in the coming year, we find that the cause for filing the writ petition would not survive. Hence, we dispose of the writ petition with no order as to costs.
