Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, has given up the prayer for making available video call facility and restricted the prayer only to availability of phone call facility. That being so, this case is squarely covered by the view taken by this Court in Criminal Writ Petition No.1031 of 2019, Dhirendera Vijay Yadav Vs. Dy. Director General of Police and Ors., decided on 02.01.2020. Accordingly the petition is allowed.

The respondent is directed to provide telephone facility to the petitioner in terms of Circular dated 12.02.2019, provided he fulfills all other conditions contained therein. Rule accordingly. No costs.
