It is brought to our notice by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners that the issue sought to be canvased in this petition is covered by the judgment delivered in Writ Petition No. 262 of 2024 (Ranjana M. Dhokane vs. State of Maharashtra and others) decided on 15.03.2024 and the order dated 31.01.2023 passed in Writ Petition No. 7667 of 2022 (Sachin S. Tambakhe and ors. vs. State of Maharashtra and others) with connected writ petitions.

Since the contention is not controverted by the respondents, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition in terms of the said orders thereby directing the respondent nos. 1 to 4 to consider the claim of the petitioners for
34-WP-4373-2024.odt 2 their transfer in accordance with law from difficult terrain to any other terrain where the vacancies are available as they having been completed the tenure in difficult terrain. 4.
