The petitioner herein is an association of project affected persons from district Gondia and it has challenged the Circular dated 26.03.2002 and Government Resolution dated 11.04.2000, whereby policy decision was taken by the Government to give preference to certain category of persons in public employment. The petitioner association claimed that such policy giving preference to particular category of persons adversely affects the persons who are members of petitioner association.

0107wp1868.02.odt We find that the petitioner association does not have any locus to challenge the aforesaid Government Circular and Government Resolution and that no affected individual is before this Court challenging the said policy decision of the Government. Hence, on the ground that the petitioner association has no locus, the instant writ petition is dismissed. JUDGE JUDGE waghmare
