On 13.6.2016 the learned counsel for the petitioner made a statement that the petitioner had expired and hence steps to bring the legal heirs on record would be necessary. We had adjourned the matter to 27.6.2016. On 27.6.2016, three weeks' time was granted for taking steps. Thereafter, the matter was listed on 18.7.2016 and 3.8.2016. On both the dates of hearing, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. None appears on behalf of the petitioner today also. It is apparent that the legal heirs of the petitioner are not desirous of prosecuting the writ petition. The writ petition is, therefore, dismissed for want of prosecution.
