Major part of the investigation is over. It is not in dispute that the co-accused, whose name figures in the first information report, has been released on bail by the trial Court. It is also not in dispute that only one injury was sustained by the victim and it was simple in nature. All these circumstances would lead me to conclude that now the applicant also deserves relief of bail. Hence, the order.

The application is allowed and it is directed that the applicant be released on bail on his furnishing a P. R. Bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/- together with one solvent surety in the like amount on the conditions that he shall regularly attend the Court on the dates fixed in the matter, he shall cooperate with the Court for expeditious disposal of the case and shall not tamper with the prosecution witnesses.
