Having heard the respective counsel, we are of the view that the Corrected as per order dtd.06.05.2024 CAW 997/24 respondent no.1 shall decide the issue afresh having regard to the fact that the petitioner has already cleared the State Eligibility Test on 30.3.2000 and the fact that the petitioner is already placed in the pay scale of Rs.8000-13500 which is also prescribed for the post of Lecturer in the University Department. 2.

We deem it appropriate to direct the said Authority to decide the claim of the petitioner afresh by granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

The petitioner to appear before the said Authority on 3rd April, 2024. 4.

We expect the said Authority to decide the same within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
