Heard Shri B.G. Kulkarni, learned counsel for the petitioner, Shri A.S. Fulzele, learned Acting GP for respondent Nos. 1 to 3 and Mrs. Anjali Bhandarkar, learned counsel for respondent No. 4.

Wages of petitioners have been released from the date on which respondent No. 3 - Joint Director granted approval to their pay-fixation. It is not in dispute that they are entitled to salary from the date of joining. 3.

Learned Acting GP has pointed out that in absence of budgetary provision, salary for said period could not be worked out and paid.

In this situation, we direct respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to pay wages of the petitioners for the period on which they joined till the date of fixation of their wages by respondent No. 3, within next four months.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No order as to costs.
