The applicant - a Patwari has not only taken note of a registered document but also has deleted encumbrance of Finance Company from the revenue record on the basis of an unregistered document. In this situation, the cognizance of an offence has been taken under Section 420, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code against him at the instance of that Finance Company and after completing investigation, a charge sheet has also been filed. 3.

In the circumstances, we are not inclined to intervene in the matter in extra ordinary jurisdiction. Leaving all rival conventions open, we dispose of the present application. No order as to costs.
