On 7th December 2020 we directed issuance of notice to the respondent and called R & P. Such order came to be passed as we intended to dispose the criminal appeal today.

R & P is received. However, the learned Senior Advocate requests that the appeal be kept for final hearing on 4th January 2021.

As we are ready to take up the appeal for final hearing today, but on request of the learned Senior Advocate, the appeal is directed to be listed for final hearing on 4th January 2021, the criminal application is rejected with liberty to the appellant to reiterate the request as made in the criminal application, if the appeal is not decided till 15th March 2021.
