The only prayer made by the petitioner is for a direction to the respondent-Gram Panchayat to decide the application made by the petitioner for permission to make the construction on the land that is permitted to be used for non-agricultural purposes.

Since the prayer made by the petitioner is innocuous, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent No.4 to decide the application made by the petitioner as early as possible and positively within a period of four weeks.

Order accordingly. No order as to costs.
