DATE : March 07, 2017 By this application it is prayed that the delay in filing cross-objection be condoned. The reasons for delay are stated in paragraphs 14 and 15 of the application. The application is opposed by learned counsel for original appellant-VIDC by stating that the reasons as assigned are not sufficient. Considering reasons mentioned in the application, the delay in filing cross-objection is condoned subject to the claimant-cross objector not being entitled for interest on the amount of compensation if enhanced for the period from 21/06/2011 till date. Delay in filing cross-objection is condoned in aforesaid terms. Application is allowed and disposed of.
