The petition under question has been decided by this Court vide judgment dated 19.06.2024. It appears that the petitioner - company had deposited 50% of the back-wages before this Court. The respondent - employee is seeking permission to withdraw the said amount.

Copy of application though served, none appears for the petitioner - company.

The order passed by the Labour Court directing the company to reinstate the employee with continuity of service and full back-wages, has been restored.

In view thereof, I do not find any reason to not grant permission to withdraw the amount of back-wages deposited by the company before this Court.

The application is accordingly allowed. The amount deposited by the company be released in favour of the employee along with interest if any, accrued thereon.
