By this contempt petition, the petitioner has sought action against the respondents for willful disobedience of the order directing the respondents to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within one year.
Shri Ghurde, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondents, states that during the pendency of the contempt petition, the caste claim of the petitioner is decided. It is stated that there is heavy pendency of the caste claims before the scrutiny committee and the delay in deciding the caste claim of the petitioner is not deliberate.
In view of the aforesaid, we dispose of the contempt petition, with no order as to costs.
