1] The applicants are apprehending arrest in Crime 272/2018 registered with the Police Station Civil Lines, Akola for offence punishable under section 498-A, 306 read with section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
2] The applicant 1 is a teacher and his wife - applicant 2 is a Gram Sewak and is reportedly pregnant. 3] The deceased Vrushali married Nilesh the brother of applicant 1 on 06.05.2018 and unfortunately committed suicide within a short time on 15.06.2018. 4] The only accusation in the first information report lodged by the father of the deceased is a general statement that the deceased informed him that she was insulted in the matrimonial family by her husband and the applicants on trival issues and was treated as maid. 5] Considering the accusations, it is apparent that custodial interrogation is not necessary. That apart, the
aba429.18.O.odt 2 accusations are too general and bereft of particulars. This application shall have to be allowed.
6] In the event of arrest, the applicants shall be released on bail on their furnishing personal bond of Rs.15,000/- each with a solvent surety of the like amount. [a] The applicants shall attend Police Station as and when required by the investigating officer.
[b] The applicants shall not tamper with the evidence.
[c] The applicants shall not attempt to influence the witnesses.
