The petitioner was awarded a contract for undertaking the work of solid waste management within the limits of Municipal Council Chandur Bazar-respondent No.2. According to the petitioner it has carried out the aforesaid work and on expiry of the contract on 19/04/2019 it was entitled to receive an amount of Rs.12,00,000/- for the work undertaken. On 23/04/2019 a representation in that regard had been made to the Municipal Council. The same is however not yet been decided.

The learned counsel for the respondent No.2 seeks time

We however find that the interests of justice would be served by directing the respondent No.2 to take a decision on the representation dated 23/04/2019 (page 21 of the writ petition) made by the petitioner for release of its dues within a period of four weeks from the receipt of copy of this order. The decision taken by the respondent No.2 be communicated to the petitioner. With aforesaid directions the writ petition is disposed of.
