By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent no.2-Collector, State Excise, Nagpur as also the respondent no.3-Superintendent, State Excise, Nagpur to decide the petitioner's Renewal Application, dated 6.4.2016 in pursuance of the order, dated 2.4.2016, passed in Writ Petition No.6605/2015.

Shri A.M. Joshi, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, states that the application of the petitioner, dated 6.4.2016 is decided against the petitioner on 21.7.2016. It is stated that the cause for filing the writ petition would not survive.

In view of the statement made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, we dispose of the writ petition, with no order as to costs. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the said order, the petitioner is entitled to take appropriate steps. Order accordingly.
