This appeal is filed under Section 14-A of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

During the pendency of the matter reply was filed on behalf of the State wherein it is stated that statement of the victim was recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and on the basis of that statement the offences under Sections 354, 109, 120-B and 503 of the Indian Penal Code as well as offences under Sections 3(1)(w)(i)(ii) and 3(2) (va) of the said Act have been deleted from Crime No.402/2020, vide Station Diary No. 049/2020. The learned Advocate for the appellant in view of the said statement seeks permission to withdraw the present appeal with liberty to file anticipatory bail application before the Sessions Court. The appeal is permitted to be withdrawn and disposed of with liberty as prayed for.
