It is submitted that though the proposal to grant approval to the upgradation of the Assistant Teacher is forwarded by the management to the respondent - Education Officer (Secondary) on 11.7.2014, the same is not decided, as yet. The learned counsel for the petitioner, therefore, seeks a direction to the respondent - Education Officer (Secondary) to decide the proposal of the petitioner as early as possible.

Since the prayer made by the petitioner is innocuous and since it appears that the proposal was made on 11.7.2014, we dispose of the writ petition, with a direction to the Education Officer (Secondary) to decide the proposal of the petitioner, if not decided, as yet, as early as possible and positively within a period of six weeks. Order accordingly. No costs.
