The applicant is convicted for the offence punishable under Sections 304-B, 306, 498-A and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. It is canvassed that since the applicant is behind bars, he was unable to arrange to file the appeal within limitation period. The reason canvassed has to be accepted since, the applicant is in jail. In view of this, Criminal Application is allowed and disposed of. Delay caused in filing appeal is hereby condoned.
