The petitioners by way of present petition claiming benefits of Assured Career Progress Scheme (hereinafter referred to as "ACPS") as per Government Resolution dated 30.04.1998.

The learned Additional Government Pleader has drawn attention of this Court to the judgment of the Division Bench of this Court dated 21.09.2013 passed in Writ Petition No.2358 of 2013 and other connected matters granting such benefits after examining the individual cases of the petitioners for deciding whether they satisfy the criteria to avail benefits.

The learned Additional Government Pleader has further drawn attention of this Court to the paragraph 9 of the reply on affidavit dated 02.03.2024, which read thus : "9. It is submitted that the respondents are having due respect of the judgments and orders passed by this Hon'ble Court and followed directions issued by this Hon'ble Court. The answering respondents further submit that, they will take necessary steps if directed by this Hon'ble Court in view of Judgment dated 21.09.2013 passed by the principal seat of this Hon'ble Court in Writ Petition No.2358 of 2013." 4.

Accordingly, in view of the above referred paragraph 9, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the respondents to take appropriate decision as regards the entitlement of the petitioners as per the ACPS and the judgment of this Court, dated 21.09.2013 in Writ Petition No.2358 of 2013 within four weeks from today.
