Heard Ms Deshpande, the learned counsel for the applicants; and Shri Mirza, the learned counsel for the non-applicant - State. 2.

By this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners are seeking direction to the Sessions Court, Gadchiroli / Special Court for expeditious disposal of 'A' Final Report No.1 of 2018 pending before the said Court.

The petitioners are Police Officers. The First Information Report No.05 of 2018 came to be registered against the petitioners on the basis of complaint for commission of offences punishable under Sections 354-a(1)(IV), 294, 232 and 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3(1)(S)(W)(2) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. The Investigating Agency, after carrying out the investigation, has submitted 'A' Final Report, bearing No.1 of 2018. 4.

It is the case of the petitioners that in spite of filing of 'A' Final Report, no decision has been taken by the Sessions Court. We find substance in the submission of the petitioners. 5.

We, therefore, pass the following order :

The Sessions Court, Gadchiroli/Special Court is requested to decide 'A' Final Report No.1 of 2018 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order. 6.
