By this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction that the application moved by him under Section 53(2)(2-B) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act, 1958 seeking removal of encroachment be decided.

By filing an affidavit, the respondent No.1 has placed on record order dated 6.7.2022 thereby rejecting the petitioner's application dated 17.1.2020.

In view of the aforesaid, the prayer made in the writ petition stands considered. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the adjudication dated 6.7.2022, he is free to take legal recourse in accordance with law.

The writ petition is disposed of.
