The challenge raised in the present writ petition is to the order dated 29.05.2019 transferring the services of the petitioner from Delanwadi, Panchayat Samiti Armori to Murumgaon, Panchayat Samiti Dhanora. While issuing notice in the writ petition on 15.07.2019, the parties were directed to maintain status-quo.

The petitioner has filed Civil Application No. 1458/2023 stating therein that by passage of time, he has completed his tenure at Delanwadi, Panchayat Samiti, Armori. He has therefore made a representation dated 27.03.2023 seeking consideration of his request for near posting in the light of the fact that he is to superannuate within a period of four weeks. 4.

In the aforesaid facts, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Gadchiroli to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.03.2023 and take a decision thereon within a period of six weeks of receiving copy of the order.

Needless to state that if the petitioner is not satisfied with the outcome of such consideration, he is free to take such steps as permissible in law.

The Writ Petition as well as the Civil Application No. 1458/2023 are disposed of.
