The petitioner has an alternate remedy by way of appeal and also a second appeal under the provisions of Section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code.

In that view of the matter, we are not inclined to entertain the present writ petition in extra ordinary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The petition is, therefore, rejected relegating the petitioner to avail the alternate remedy available in law.
