In this case, emergency parole was rejected by the authorities.

We are not going into the issue of validity of such rejection but no relief can be granted to the petitioner, at this stage, because the emergency referred to by him no longer subsists. We, therefore, dispose of this petition by granting the liberty to the petitioner to apply for parole/furlough in terms of the Rules and Regulations that may be applicable.

If such application is made, we are sure, that the authorities will consider and dispose of the same in accord with law including the decisions on which reliance has been

The petition stands disposed of with aforesaid liberty. No costs.
