DATED : 20th September, 2019 The caste claim of the petitioner for 'Chhatri Schedule Tribe' was invalidated by the Scrutiny Committee in the year 2007. Writ Petition No.4366/2007 preferred by the petitioner was dismissed on 23-11-2009. Special Leave Petition was also dismissed. Review and Curative Petitions were also dismissed and thereafter, this Review Petition has been filed after delay of 9 years and 22 days in filing the petition.

The ground is that, the petitioner has the pre-constitutional document in the name of his father, showing the caste 'Chhatri' have now become available and therefore, the review petition is being preferred.
