The applicants herein have approached this Court seeking temporary bail from 06.07.2019 to 08.07.2019 on the ground of marriage of cousin sister of applicant no.1. Although it is stated in the application that the said girl is a daughter of applicant no.2, but it is clarified that she is actually a niece of the applicant no.2.

It is found that the Sessions Court has already passed an order giving direction that the applicants shall be permitted to attend wedding under police escort on paying necessary charges and that they would be attending the marriage on 07.07.2019 between 4 p.m. till 9 p.m.

Having heard the learned counsel for the parties, this Court is not inclined to grant temporary bail to the applicants. In this situation, the learned counsel for the applicants submitted that the time period could be extended since rituals of the marriage would take some time. It is contended that the applicants be
BA594-19.odt permitted to attend the wedding till 12 in the midnight. 4.
Considering the material placed on record, the prayer for grant of temporary bail is rejected. However, the order passed by the Sessions Court dated 01.07.2019 is modified to the extent that the applicant shall be permitted to attend the wedding on 07.07.2019 from 4 p.m. to 12 in the midnight. Rest of the directions given in the said order of the Sessions Court are maintained.

An ordinary copy of this order be provided to the parties to act upon.
