The learned counsel appearing for the applicant made submissions for some time.

We indicated that since the charge-sheet was filed as far back as on 23.04.2020, we would be reluctant in entertaining the present application. At this stage, the learned counsel for the applicant, on instructions, sought permission to withdraw the present application with liberty to file an application for discharge before the Competent Court.

Hence, the criminal application is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid.
