The wife of the applicant Mrs. 'P' unfortunately committed suicide on 02.04.2021.

The brother of the deceased lodged report dated 28.04.2021 alleging, that Mrs. 'P' was ill-treated by her matrimonial family since there was an expectation and demand of certain amount. The report makes a reference to three such occasions. The last demand allegedly made in December, 2019 is for certain amount, which is allegedly demanded to take care of the ailment of Mrs. 'P'. While the report does make a reference to the disclosure made by Mrs. 'P' that she was ill-treated, the allegations are vague and general in nature. The report itself is lodged after twenty-four days. While, these aspects will fall for consideration only after the evidence is adduced, a case for bail is made out, particularly since the investigation is complete, the charge-sheet is filed and the applicant is not a flight risk.

The application is allowed.

The applicant shall be released on bail on executing personal bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with a solvent surety of like amount. 4.
The applicant shall not make any attempt to tamper with the evidence or to influence witnesses, directly or indirectly.
5.
The applicant shall not leave the country without the permission of the trial Court.
