DATE :- AUGUST 18, 2022 Challenge in this writ petition is raised to the notice of sale proclamation issued by the Recovery Officer, Debts Recovery Tribunal. The recovery certificate was drawn against the petitioner for an amount of Rs.12,67,946/- alongwith interest and costs of Rs.22,950/-.

On 29.07.2022 while issuing notice, the petitioner was directed to deposit an amount of Rs.10,00,000/- with the Recovery Officer by 30.07.2022. That amount has accordingly been deposited on 29.07.2022.

Today, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the balance amount which is approximately Rs.3,00,000/- would be deposited with the respondent no.2 within a period of three days from today.

That statement is accepted.

The petitioner shall deposit the balance amount of Rs.3,00,000/- with the respondent no.2 within a period of three days from today.

9-WP-4405-22.odt 2 In the light of the deposit of the amount under the Recovery Certificate as well as the interest and costs, it is not necessary to further proceed with the adjudication of the writ petition. The respondent nos. 2 and 3 are free to take consequential steps in the light of the deposit of the entire amount. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
