ATE : JULY 29 , 2024 In response to the objection to the jurisdiction raised by this Court, Mr. Sharma, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, would submit that the post did not fall in the category of Central Government employment, in case the petitioner is granted compassionate appointment on the post of 'Gram Dak Sevak' or similar post.

2) We are of the view that what is questioned by the petitioner is the decision of the Central Government and not as regards the posting of the petitioner. That being so, we are of the view that petitioner has an alternate remedy of approaching Central Administrative Tribunal.

3) In the wake of aforesaid view of this Court, learned Counsel appearing for petitioner, on instructions, prays for withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal.

4) As such, the petition stands disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
