The petition has been filed by the petitioners directing the respondents to make payment of arrears of wages on account of implementation of 6th Pay Commission for the period from 1.1.2006 to 31.3.2010. The State has not disputed the entitlement of the petitioners. However, it is submitted that on account of paucity of funds the immediate payment cannot be made.

Undisputedly a part of payment to which the petitioners are entitled, has also been made. Learned Government Pleader makes a statement that the balance payment would be made to the petitioners within a period of 3 months from today.

In that view of the matter, the purpose of the petition is served. The petition is disposed of taking on record the statement made on behalf of the State
