In view of our earlier order dated 8th July, 2024, we are considering the prayer to the extent of CCTV footage. Today, the Investigating Officer is present. On 7th March, 2024, the application was given to the President of the Trust for issuance of CCTV footage. The reply is given by the Trust that due to technical problem, the CCTV Footage is not available.

The party-in-person submits that police is not expert and the DVR can be revived and, therefore, he insists for the prayer nos. 4 and 5. We cannot monitor the investigation in such a way, we SKNair

2-wp-538-24.odt are just considering whether the efforts were made by the police to get the CCTV footage or not and since we have received the information and we have seen the police papers to that effect, it is for the police to further approach and to see whether it is possible to get CCTV footage or to revive the DVR. As aforesaid, we cannot monitor the investigation in such a way in our writ jurisdiction. Hence, the writ petition stands disposed of.
