Any interference at this stage would stall the election process which would not be permissible in view of the law laid down by the Apex Court in the case of Election Commission of India .vs. Ashokumar and others reported in (2000) 8 S.C.C. 216.

In any case the petitioner has an alternate efficacious remedy of filing an election petition and to raise all the grounds which are raised in the present petition.

The petition is, therefore, rejected relegating the petitioner to the alternate remedy available to her in law.
