DATED : NOVEMBER 15, 2019 In view of the order passed by the Apex Court on 28/8/2019 in Special Leave to Appeal Nos.33904-33910/2017, the petitioners seek permission to withdraw this petition so as to enable them to approach the Apex Court.

The Apex Court has directed that neither the High Court nor any subordinate Court in the State of Maharashtra shall entertain any challenge to the proposed reservation or the Ordinance promulgated by the State on 31/7/2019 or any matter relating to issuance of election programme concerning the Zilla Parishads and Panchayat Samities of the concerned five Districts. The Apex Court has decided to examine the whole matter and, therefore, such direction has been issued.
