Mrs.Ketki Joshi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent nos. 1 and 2 has placed on record notification dated 12th July, 2018 issued by the Government of Maharashtra, Law and Judiciary Department, Mumbai thereby appointing Advocate Prabhakar S. Talwekar as 'Special Public Prosecutor' for conducting Sessions Case No.125 of 2017 pending on the file of Sessions Court, Higanghat, District Wardha arising out of Crime No.17 of 2017.

The limited prayer in the present petition filed by petitioner namely Waman Narayanrao Raghatate, Complainant in the above numbered crime is for issuance of directions to the respondents for appointment of Special Public Prosecutor for conducting above trial. In view of issuance of Notification by the respondent as referred above, which is taken on record along with the pursis and marked 'X' for identification, the prayer made in the petition

In that view of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of as allowed with no orders as to costs. Needless to state that stay granted to proceedings in Sessions Trial No.125 of 2017 stands vacated.
