Heard.

The applicant is arrested on 8th April, 2017 in connection with crime registered against him for offence punishable under Sections 376(2)(n), 323 and 504 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

The crime is registered on the complaint lodged by prosecutrix (aged about 25 years) that after the marriage was fixed, the applicant sexually exploited her and then demanded Rs.1,00,000/- to solemnize the marriage.

The applicant is in jail for almost 3 months. The non-applicant has not been able to point out that further custody of applicant is required for investigation. In the facts of the case, following order is passed:

The applicant having been arrested in connection with Crime No.200/2017 (F.I.R.

2 ba602.17 no.345/2017) registered by the non-applicant, he be released on bail on executing P.R. bond for Rs.20,000/- (Rs. Twenty Thousand).

The application is allowed in the above terms. JUDGE Tambaskar.
