Heard learned counsel Ms Radha Mishra appointed for the petitioner, learned Additional Public Prosecutor Shri N.B. Jawade for the respondents/State, and perused the reply.
The petitioner seeks release as he has been put in more than 14 years of imprisonment.
Learned Additional Public Prosecutor Shri N.B. Jawade for the respondents/State points out that on 3.9.2016, the petitioner has been placed in Category 2(c) as per 2010 Guidelines and, therefore, supposed to undergo imprisonment of 26 years.
There is no substantive challenge to this order of categorization.
Hence, with liberty to the petitioner to raise .....2/-
appropriate challenge to that order, we dispose of the present proceedings as infructuous.
Charges of learned counsel Ms Radha Mishra appointed for the petitioner are quantified at Rs.15,00/- (rupees fifteen hundred only).
