Shri P.R. Parsodkar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Ms. N.P. Mehta, learned AGP for respondent No. 1 and Shri A.C. Jaltare, learned counsel for respondent No. 2.

Shri Jaltare, learned counsel for respondent No. 2 submits that the impugned order issued by respondent No. 2 is withdrawn as caste claim is pending with respondent No. 1 - Committee.

In this situation, we find that the grievance of the petitioner does not survive. However, we direct respondent No. 1 - Committee to complete verification of caste claim within one year from today.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No order as to costs.
