Mehta, learned Assistant Government Pleader waives notice for respondent Nos.1 and 2.

The petitioners claim to be engaged with Agricultural Produce Market Committee, Umarkhed for a period of more than 10 years as Labourers. The Market Committee on 9.6.2023 passed Resolution No.2 proposing regularization of the services of the petitioners on the vacant post of Peon with it. The said proposal was thereafter forwarded to the Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Umarkhed. The Assistant Registrar,

Cooperative Societies, Umarkhed forwarded the said request to the District Deputy Registrar on 19.6.2023. It appears that the said proposal dated 19.6.2023 seeking approval of the District Deputy Registrar is still pending.

In aforesaid facts, interest of justice would be served by directing the respondent No.2 to consider the proposal dated 19.6.2023 in the matter of regularization of the services of the petitioners. Since the proposal has been submitted on 19.6.2023 the decision thereon be taken within a period of three weeks from receipt of copy of this judgment. The proposal be decided in accordance with law and the decision be communicated to the petitioners. With these directions the writ petition is disposed of. Rule accordingly. No costs.
