DATE : 11/01/2018 The only prayer made by the petitioner in the instant petition is for a direction against the Collector to decide the application of the petitioner dated 23/1/2017 and correct the award or separately grant the compensation to the petitioner. According to the petitioner, being dissatisfied with the award passed by the Special Land Acquisition Officer on 21/11/2016 an application was made to the Land Acquisition Officer under Section 64 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 for making a reference. It is stated that though the application was made on 23/1/2017 the same is not decided till date.

1101wp4691.17.odt If the petitioner has made an application under Section 64 of the Act of 2013 and if the same is still pending, the Land Acquisition Officer - Collector may take appropriate action in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 2013, as early as possible.

Order accordingly. No costs.
