3] The expiry of the term apart, the issue is covered by the judgment of the Hon'ble Apex Court in Shankar s/o Raghunath Devre (Patil) v. State of Maharashtra & ors. in Special Leave to Appeal (C) No(s) 29874-29875 which approves the Full Bench decision of this Court in Anant H. Ulahalkar and another v. Chief Election Commissioner and others reported in 2017(1) Mh.L.J. 431.
