Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the representation made through proper channel i.e. Chief Executive Officer and thereafter, though the period of more than one year lapsed, there is no decision on the same. It is submitted that by the said representation a prayer is made to sanction the benefits of two additional increments as per the Government Resolution dated 30.04.1984.

We are of the opinion that if directions are issued to the Deputy Director of Education/respondent No. 5 to decide the representation of the petitioner, the purpose would be served and since the said order will not be prejudicial to any of the respondents, no notice before passing such order is necessary.

In that view of the matter, we dispose of the present writ petition with direction to the respondent No. 5 to

925.WP.3754.2025.odt decide the representation of the petitioner within eight weeks from today.

We direct the Deputy Director of Educationrespondent No. 5 to consider the grounds raised in the present petition by considering the present writ petition as a representation and also the order passed by this Court in similar matters.
