The applicants, who according to them, are the councillors of respondent no.3 Municipal Council have filed this application seeking permission to intervene and make their written and oral submissions in the petition. 2.

In view of law laid down by the Apex Court in the case of Ravi Yashwant Bhoir Vs The Collector, District Raigad and others reported in 2012 (4) SCC 407, paragraph 71, the intervenors can be allowed to only make oral submissions.
