Learned counsel for the applicant submits that yesterday i.e. on 1st August, 2022, the application of the applicant for grant of pre-arrest was rejected. It is submitted as the applicant wants to surrender, an interim protection granted by this Court vide order dated 29th June, 2022 may be continued for two weeks. 2.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has no objection as the protection is sought to enable the applicant to surrender.

Considering the fact that the applicant wants to surrender either before the trial Court or police, interim protection granted to the applicant vide order dated 29th June, 2022 shall continue for two weeks from today and on expiry of two weeks from today it shall stands automatically cancelled. 4.
