According to Adv. Puri for respondent no.7 and learned A.G.P. for respondent nos. 5 and 6 challenge has already become infructuous as equivalence certificate was sought for taking admission to second-year degree course in Engineering. 3.

They also invite our attention to orders dated 12th March 2015 to show that this Court directed the University Grants Commission (UGC) to be joined, to examine the issue of equivalence. They also point out that UGC was accordingly joined on 12.03.2015. Ultimately, the petition as against UGC (respondent no.8) has been dismissed on 28.9.2016. 4.

Thus, in absence of UGC, orders dated 12th March 2015 for exercise to find out equivalence, cannot be undertaken. 5.

We,therefore, accept the submission of respondents that challenge is rendered infructuous.

Petition is dismissed accordingly.
