Real brother of the petitioner is informed to be holding validity, as such in view of the provisions contained in the Maharashtra Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, De-notified Tribes (Vimukta Jatis), Nomadic Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Special Backward Category (Regulation of Issuance and Verification of) Caste Certificates Act, 2000 (Maharashtra Act No. 23 of 2001) , the vigilance Rgd.

Order 2406wp3189.25 cell report, so also the order of this Court granting validity in favour of brother of the petitioner, can be used for the purpose of assessing the claim of the petitioner.

The petitioner is permitted to appear before the Scrutiny Committee on 02.07.2025. The Committee must decide the claim of the petitioner in any case by 15.08.2025.

Writ Petition is partly allowed in aforesaid terms. No costs.
